We are currently looking for a motivated, high-performing senior leader who is ready to accept full operational accountability for the position of Fixed Plant Maintenance Manager to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This senior level role in the organization is accountable for the maintenance and asset lifecycle management of three process plants at Al Masane, a standalone crushing plant at our Guyan gold deposit, the operation and maintenance of the site’s diesel-powered generators (37 MW installed capacity via 31 x 1-1.6 MW units), and underground electrical, pumping and ventilation infrastructure. With more than 130 maintenance staff, this is a significant component of our core business. Located at a comfortable 1,750 m above sea-level in the Najran-Al Joshwan mountain range, this position is open to people ready for adventure and who thrive in driving high performance in themselves and their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Ensures the highest level of safety, health and environmental work standards.
  • Responsible for ensuring plant and equipment availability and functionality to meet
    production output, product quality and product shipping commitments.
  • Ensures that KPIs such as plant availability, planned versus unplanned work, planned
    rebuilds, condition monitoring and budget are achieved.
  • Allocates resources effectively and fully utilizes assets to produce optimal results.
  • Provide clear direction, focus and accountability for the maintenance function.
  • Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards,
    metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.
  • Monitor and manage employee performance and behaviors in line with company
    policy and the needs of the maintenance department.
  • Ensure appropriate systems of governance are in place including vendor supplies,
    repairs and quality control of all work and other company governance requirements.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts within the maintenance function in terms of
    technology and innovation, efficiency, performance, and cost optimization.
  • Accountable for development and management of asset lifecycle planning, budgeting
    and management for all fixed assets across the business.
  • Develop and manage the delivery of the annual plan for the maintenance function.

QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in Base Metals Flotation and Gold Processing, with 5+
    years at a Managerial level.
  • An advanced knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting,
    strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources).
  • Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise.
  • Exemplary knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory,
    and stewardship processes.
  • Excellent English communication skills (both oral and written).
