12 July 2026
Almasane Alkobra Mining Company (AMAK) received two recognition awards during July in recognition of its continued commitment to supporting community initiatives in the Najran Region.
The Company received a Recognition Award from His Highness Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, Governor of the Najran Region, in appreciation of its efforts in serving and supporting the local community. The award was presented during an official ceremony held on Wednesday, 8 July 2026.
The Company also received a Recognition Award from the Director General of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture – Najran Branch on Sunday, 12 July 2026, in recognition of its sponsorship and support of the Najran Harvest Festival, which was held under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Governor of the Najran Region in support of the agricultural sector and local farmers.
AMAK's support for the Najran Harvest Festival is part of its broader commitment to strengthening the region's economy beyond mining activities and supporting the
communities where it operates. Earlier this month, the Company also participated in a workshop on the social performance assessment of mining companies, organized
by the Saudi Mining Services Company (ESNAD) in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources. This reflects AMAK's belief that sustainable mining
should create a meaningful social impact and deliver long-term value, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
AMAK is one of the pioneers in the mining industry in the private sector in KSA. It is one of the largest producers of zinc, copper, gold and silver, which puts us at the forefront of the sector to create an added value chain with an effective economic impact
